A home inspection can be a major contingency of your purchase contract. It can allow a buyer to exit a contract if major problems exist. A home inspection performed by a home seller can alert you to future problems. Items that can cause your home to be devalued can be addressed prior to the home being put onto the market. While a home inspection does not replace a pest inspection, nor a roof inspection, it is an important part of your home sale or purchase.
